Riva News: January 2016

Does your story inspire customer loyalty?

Customer strategists who understand the importance of constantly improving their valuable customer relationships also have a clear understanding of how important current, relevant, and accurate data on each of their clients is to their future opportunities. Customers the world over want to know the pros and cons of each vendor they may potentially be working with – hopefully over the long run. So it is incumbent on the vendor to make sure that their story is told and that they articulate the benefits of using their products and services in order to inspire customer loyalty.

What do your customers know about your business? Does your story build confidence in your customers that they are working with the right vendor? Does it inspire long-term loyalty? These questions got us thinking about our own story. We make an effort to continuously share the Riva story – our history, current products and services, and future growth – here on our website, in our blog and news updates, on our social channels, and at the many industry events we attend throughout the year. Still, there may be some who are not familiar with what makes Riva unique.

Here are a few of the reasons why customers love Riva. We hope this moves you to create and share your own list of reasons why your customers love your company and products!

  • A proven solution. Our customers tell us that our Sync Engine is the best in the industry. Since 2008 we’ve earned the trust of over 1,500+ businesses from Fortune 500 companies to SMBs, including 12 of the world’s largest banks. Riva seamlessly syncs a dozen CRMs and five of the leading corporate email systems to desktops, webmail clients, virtual desktops, smartphones, and tablets. Riva is a reliable server-side solution; there are no plug-ins that need to be installed, configured, or managed.
  • Unsurpassed flexibility and functionality. Whether your sync requirements are simple or complex, Riva can satisfy them. Riva offers one-way and two-way sync, automatic and manual email logging, advanced calendar integration features (e.g., support for recurring events, multi-day events, meetings with multiple attendees, and custom event categories), flexible contact filtering options, integration of custom objects and custom fields, and extensive configuration options.
  • Increased user adoption and satisfaction. It all comes down to this: By seamlessly syncing data between your CRM and email system, Riva helps drive CRM adoption and satisfaction. End-users can access CRM data from the applications and devices they’re accustomed to using on a daily basis – without spending time manually entering data. What can this do for you? Boost your win rates, deliver a better customer experience, maximize your CRM investment.

We hope you are inspired to share your story so your customers understand how your company is unique and deserving of their confidence, trust, and loyalty. And, we hope we have shared something you haven’t heard before about Riva CRM Integration that inspires you to remain a Riva customer for years to come. We invite you back for our February new update where we’ll share a little about the interesting history of Riva!

Frequently asked questions

What does the end of Salesforce support for TLS 1.0 in 2016 mean for you?

Salesforce has announced that it is disabling Transport Layer Security (TLS) 1.0 in the first quarter of 2016 and that organizations and application providers must prepare accordingly. If your organization uses Riva Cloud, there is no action required. If you are using Riva On-Premise, please review this Knowledge Base article for details on what is required.

Tip of the month

Did you know that Riva has a Delete Safety feature that protects you from unnecessary record deletions?

When the number of queued deletions exceeds a threshold, Delete Safety issues an error and Riva does not process the deletions until you confirm to allow deletion or skip the items.
